1965 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE



Hi-Po 289 cu.in 271 H.P. V8 with Hurst 4 speed manual transmission.
Condition - Solid Car - Floors, Pans, Torque Boxes and Rails all O.K., no rust.
Motor - 289 cu.in 271 H.P. has Crane Roller Rockers, don’t know what else was done.  Has original
Shelby Hi-Rise Intake Manifold.  Rebuilt Holley 4 Barrel Carb . Headers, with Dual Exhaust.  Original Dual
Point Distributor, 1” front sway bar, has suspension lower 1” (Shelby Style) for better control.           
9 inch rear end, do not know gear ratio, has traction bars on rear springs.
New Top 3/08,pads etc. Not Power - Manual.
New Paint 6/07
Since removed from storage the following has been done:

A Member is looking for a No-cat H-Pipe, Standard Shifter and
lowering Springs for a 2000 GT.

This 1965 Mustang convertible has recently undergone a complete body off restoration. The
paint is magnificent and is the original Vintage Burgundy. It has the factory 4 speed and the
upgraded A code engine. The mechanics on the car are excellent. Options include, styled wheels,
power steering, power top, console, fog lights, dual exhaust. This is done in the GT style and is a
clone. It does have the factory 4 speed as well as the original A code motor. There is no rust or
any structural problems.

This is a great car to have fun in and enjoy while having an investment grade collector car.  
Asking price is $29, 900.
